This brand new position will conduct research on collaborative farming (including collective and cooperative models), produce farmer-facing educational resources, and coordinate with partners and farmers on relevant efforts. For a few years now, collaborative farming has been on our radar as a possible strategy for making farming more accessible and resilient. Besides perennially hearing from farmers of their interest in collaborative models, our workshops on the topic have consistently drawn keen engagement and participation. We are excited to bring more energy and resources to this important burgeoning field.
