The Food Studies Awards recognize oral presentations or posters focused on a topic in the broad, interdisciplinary field of food studies and characterized by excellence in research and clarity of delivery. One $300 first place award and one $100 award for honorable mention are provided.

The team of Cheyenne Bissonnette, Santino Gentile, Eleanor Yi, and Alana Hilkey are the recipients of the $300 Food Studies Award for their research entitled, “Impacts of Access to Nutritional Information on College Students.” Frida Graumann and Gabrielle Wille receive the $100 Honorable Mention Award for their project entitled, “Volunteering at GrassRoots Garden: How to Grow Individual and Community Food Literacy.”
