Andi Murphy hosts the Toasted Sister Podcast, an award-winning podcast about Native food. She started the Toasted Sister Podcast in January 2017 and has talked with dozens of Indigenous people across the country about food. She is Navajo from Crownpoint, N.M. and lives in Albuquerque.

Timothy Herrera is a PhD Candidate in Anthropology and in the Food Studies Graduate Specialization program. His dissertation-in-progess is titled “Carework as Well-being: Latinx Immigrant Community Gardening and Practices of Hope and Support.” He is the recipient of the 2020 Sandra Morgen Public Impact Fellowship and a 2019 Food Studies Graduate Research Grant.
